I've only just come across this and love it especially the angel's chair. Your picture resonates particularly as this morning, early, I walked down the valley into wheat fields enfolded in a thick mist. Crossing the boundary from one meadow to the next, I came upon a large group of bales, cylindrical in shape, each a little apart from the other, silent, waiting, like something tribal from the past.
Hei Nicola, what utter fun and fabness to have you visit. Don't forget to pop over to the spoken-word site, and do please feel very welcome to take part in any and all madness and goings-on there (Future of my Past).
I share your feeling for the bales of hay. I've always found things like that to have a peculiar meaningness, like they are saying something very loud and clear. Although, having woken up at gone two this afternoon, I am intensely envious about your ability to enjoy mornings...
Have just been over to your other site and crept back here to say (because there doesn't seem to be anywhere else to and because I'm speaking in a whisper), about your hands and knees, this is exactly how it is. I love your writing.
Oh my. Thank you, Nicola, I really appreciate that. I might even be a little stumped for words. Therefore, just thank you very very much, and do please know your presence is highly appreciated on these sites - not only because of the praise, but also for your immediate understanding of how to comment here and there without needing to keep to any threads. This is how it's done, Nicola, isn't it? I love blogging, because it brings amazing people into my life.
Brilliant to have met you, I look forward to getting to know you.
This is a place of introspection and bollocks where I write as much for myself as for you, my potential Reader. Comment is free, but f you're rude, I'll delete you. Power.
