Why thank you matti. It's taken over at the dog park of Rajasaari... a nice view, for dogs.

Incidentally, I'm surprised to find you here. I didn't think anyone came here at all. Pleasantly surprised, mind, so no worries there. Nice to see you, in other words.

beautiful I agree.

I periodically check all blogs listed in my Around the World guide to see if they have woken up or disappeared - nice to see another post here - don't leave it so long next time!

Hei Hyde DP, how nice to see you here. Thank you for the encouragement - just for you, two pictures on the same day, and it's only a month and a bit since I last posted! I may yet become prolific.

Come again and say hello if you do. The snowfall picture, if you click on it, actually shows some flakes mid-air. That's why I wanted to post it - because the flakes were captured.

I'm a bit like that, you see, Hyde DP.

Super nice that you visited.

Well hello, Absolute Vanilla, what a total and lovely surprise to see you here. You are most heartily welcome (and I'm glad you found the more inhabited spoken-word site, too - I'm more there than here, although the current state of affairs has seen me there rather sparsely and sporadically as well, alas) and thank you kindly for the compliment. Pleased you liked the picture. I was quite pleased with it too - it's sort of darkly, forebodingly beautiful, isn't it? And I like the fact it's from the "dog island" - literally, a little island with a bridge leading to it, all for dogs (and a little bit for their owners, too).

Right, I'll go and say hei and welcome to you on the other site as well...
